My Experience and What I Believe
I would like to start this off by saying I do not know Ryan or Sarah, or his family. I have believed, and will ALWAYS believe no MATTER WHAT, Ryan is INNOCENT. I have many reasons to back this up. When I was 13 years old I started having seizures. These seizures are called ‘Catamenial' (you can Google it and find a wealth of info) and I firmly believe and will stand by the fact this is what Sarah suffered from. My doctors STILL to this day are confused by the mysterious nature of these seizures; they come and go. They come without warning which can indeed be fatal as I have learned. They also ‘go away' for years without explanation. I too once had a seizure while bathing, sometimes these seizures can be brought on during ‘relaxation' times. I was only 15 years old and had been having seizures for 2 years. I knew what to expect. I got out of the tub in time (felt it coming on, knew the ‘warning signs' --- headaches, neck pain, nausea, EXTREME tiredness) and I was VERY LUCKY to have been in a situation where my dad and sister were on the top floor with me. If I'd been unable to exit the tub (i.e., not knowing I had this seizure disorder or IF it would have continued to be brushed off as merely ‘migraines and tiredness'), I would have drowned. Plain and simple. I have relived this moment in my head many times since that incident and even more so now. I firmly believe Sarah was experiencing the ‘small seizures' where she did not lose consciousness but she was so very tired, horrible head pain and nausea, and yes it does settle in the back-neck region. My story would have ended the same way hers did - if I would have stayed in that tub, I would have drowned. Not ALL seizures are what they show in the movies - they are not all ‘violent and thrashing'. Typically seizures are just a severe tensing of the muscles, frothing of the mouth and the brain is being overloaded. I liken it to when a lightbulb burns out; there is a giant surge of power before the bulb burns out but afterward, darkness. Of course there is no evidence of seizure activity in the brain once the seizure is done; all of my EEG's came back ‘normal' after each and every seizure I've ever had. I am appalled that this information wasn't brought forward during Ryan's trial or that a Neurologist was not brought in to testify about the nature of seizure in women. Mine come and go; I can go for years without having a seizure, but when they start up again... behold. I have to be sure not to drive, to be alone in the house without someone to monitor me, and above all... never, ever bathe when you fear you may have a seizure. Sarah was not aware this was going on with her (neither was I, until my first ‘big one' hit when I was 13 years old and ALONE) and Ryan was merely trying to help her. I pray for him to keep his head up high and to keep the faith. He has not had the chance to properly grieve over the loss of his wife and this is SO very evident from watching the trial. The truth will set him free.

My name is kevin, I'm a 15 year old boy who's only connection to Ryan is through my mother. You see, my mother and Jill are rather good friendsup to this day, and I was shocked to hear about this case. This mother has to go through, knowing that her son, and innocent man who's never hurt his wife, is now in jail because of our dangerous court system! I can recall so many times, my mother told me that if it happened to them, it could happen to us. I couldnt even think about this happening one day, to go upstairs some day and find my wife dead? It sounds impossible, and yet, it actually did happen, and instead of letting him go to grief, the state of ohio desides to add insult to injury, they threw him in jail for it! What has our court system become? Was it ever fighting for justice, or is it simply taking every chance it can to stab at innocent people so that they don't get judged themselves? What's interesting is that Sarah was proven to sleep very often, and said that she fell asleep in the bath tub many times before, I can really relate to this, considering my girlfriend sleeps until 3:00 ont eh weekends and takes frequent naps. As unlikely as it sounds, it's possible for this to happen to me some day. To think of that is painful, but true. Our justice system has failed us.

I really cannot believe they put an innocent man in prison!!!! What were they thinking?! It makes me and my mother really mad!!!! My mom and I know a couple people who know Ryan and they are furious!!!! They know that he couldn't commit a crime. Ryan didn't kill his wife. They even said that his wife's wounds were from him trying to revive her so how can they say that he killed her when the evidance say's differently?! I hope they grant him a second chance!!!! And this time I hope he wins!!!! And i'm not one to get like this but this case is entirely different and I want to Ryan set free!!!! But in the mean time hang in there Ryan. We're praying for you!!!! God Bless!!!!
Easter is a joyous day! As I sat in church this morning waiting for Mass to begin, I couldn't help but notice my beautiful surroundings. The beautiful flowers sitting on the steps around the altar; the water in the foundation making its trickiling sound which was so relaxing and peaceful.

Welcome to the newly launched member Blog section! Here you will be able to write your own blogs on the site. This is a good way for you to create your own sort of diary for Ryan to read when he's able to get on the internet.
As the webmaster, it's my duty to keep the tone of the website neutral. However I do have my own thoughts and opinion, so I'll be using my blog to discuss current events related to the trial, who I am so Ryan can get to know me, opinions I may have towards the trial and the people surrounding it, and any other topics I feel are interesting.
If you have any questions or problems please feel free to contact us. Take a few minutes to look around and get familar with creating a blog. If you hover over Blogs at the top of the page in the menu, you'll see a link to create your blogs - it's a pretty straight forward control panel.
